The Union Cabinet, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved a transformative new centrally sponsored scheme - "PM SHRI Schools" (PM ScHools for Rising India). This innovative scheme aims to strengthen over 14,500 schools across the country, managed by the Central Government, State/UT Governments, and local bodies, by showcasing the components of the National Education Policy 2020 and providing mentorship to other schools in their vicinity.
